Delivery and Returns


Thank you for visiting and shopping at GT Towing Ltd. Following are the terms and conditions that constitute our Delivery Policy. All orders are processed within 1-2 business days (usually within 24 hours). Orders are not dispatched or delivered on weekends or public holidays.

GT Towing Ltd are not open during the Easter & Christmas period, or any public / bank holiday, so please expect delays around this time. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, your dispatchment may be delayed. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in delivery of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone. Delivery delays can occasionally occur.

GT Towing Ltd is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

GT Towing Ltd is not liable for any products damaged or lost during delivery. If you have received your order damaged, please contact the courier company to file a claim. Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim. A signature is required on receipt of goods. Items will not be left without signature.

UK Mainland orders under £200.00 (inc. VAT) are subject to a shipping charge calculated automatically at checkout by consignment weight, shipping location and the service chosen. Free delivery is available if the minimum spend criteria is met. Paid postage (Royal Mail Tracked) starts from £5.49 Inc VAT. Items can be pre-ordered for in-store collection for Free (We will email to confirm your order is ready for collection). Courier Delivery is £9.99. We use UPS, DHL, EVRi and Parcelforce to handle our deliveries and they operate a Next Day Delivery service from when the parcel leaves GT Towing (excluding EVRi where delivery time will vary depending on the customers choice at check-out). Items dispatched to outside of the UK Mainland may incur delivery delays.
Most of Scotland, including the Highlands, will incur at least one day delayed delivery. Please contact us for a more accurate delivery date. Items despatched to Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland and Southern Ireland are subject to a Surcharge. Additional Charges may apply to Scottish Isles and some Scottish Post Codes - (IV, KW1-14, PA/PH34, PA/PH37-39, PH41 Sector4 and PH49-50).
Surcharges apply to any destination outside UK mainland, or any destination that require an overseas carrier. Surcharges may apply to many parts of Scotland, and all of Scottish Highlands as imposed by our couriers.

Many of our items are too large and/or heavy to send using our couriers. These items are marked as collection only items. These include, but are not limited to, trailers, caravans, roof boxes, trailer side kits etc. These items are excluded from the above minimum spend criteria for free delivery.


Returning an unwanted item?
We get it, sometimes something just does not work for you and you want your money back. As long as an item is still in its original condition, we accept returns subject to the conditions below. None of these rules affect your statutory rights.
If you return an item requesting a refund within 28 days of the item(s) being delivered to you or collected, we will give you a full refund by way of the original payment method.
We aim to refund you within 14 days of receiving the returned item(s).
We do not accept returns for unwanted or incorrectly ordered items after the relevant return period above. If you try to make a return after this period, we may have to send it back to your default delivery address and ask you to cover the delivery costs.
If an item is returned to us damaged or in an unsuitable condition, we won't be able to give you a refund and we may have to send it back to you (and ask you to cover the delivery costs).
All items are inspected upon return.
All returned items should be sent in their original condition and packaging.
The cost to return your item(s) is your responsibility.

Please fill in your returns slip (included in delivery parcel) and return your item(s) to the following address: GT Towing Ltd, Returns Department, Great North Road, Welham Green, Hertfordshire, AL9 5SD

Returned items are your responsibility until they reach us, so make sure they are packed up properly and cannot get damaged on the way!
As the parcel remains your responsibility until it arrives back with us, ensure that you get proof of postage in case you need to contact us about your return. 

Want to exchange an item?
Unfortunately, we are not able to offer an exchange for items to our customers. All returned items will be refunded once they have been received by our returns department. Need a different model or size of item? Simply return the one you do not want and place a new order!

Returning a faulty or incorrect item?
If you have received an item which is not quite right, please email us at sales@gttowing.co.uk with proof of your order along with any photos you may have of the faulty/damaged product. We aim to respond within 24 hours, but often sooner (Monday – Friday).
