Towbar Appointment Terms & Conditions

If cancelled with 14 days notice prior to appointment, deposit payment may be refundable, unless in the instance the towbar and/or other associated parts ordered for the installation are special order / made to order parts. If GT Towing Ltd are able to return the special order parts to the supplier, a re-stocking fee may apply resulting in a partial refund. Special order parts are not always able to be returned to the supplier. In this instance, the deposit payment is non-refundable.

Cancellations within 14 days of your allocated appointment is non-refundable.

If you wish to reschedule your appointment within 14 days of your appointment date and time, the deposit payment is non-transferable and non-refundable.

If you wish to reschedule your appointment without penalty, this must be requested in writing by way of email to sales@gttowing.co.uk with at least 14 days notice before your original appointment date and time.

Deposit refunds are solely to the discretion of GT Towing Ltd. By paying your deposit you are agreeing that the deposit payment to order the parts and allocate workshop time is non-refundable.

Deposits are non-transferable to another booking if cancelled.

Trailer Deposit Terms & Conditions

1. All prices are quoted inclusive of Value Added Tax, which will be charged at the rate ruling at the date of supply.


2. If the cost of the goods as set out on the Order form increases between the date of the order and the estimated date of delivery, GT Towing Ltd will notify the Purchaser of the increase and, if the Purchaser does not wish to accept the increase, GT Towing Ltd will cancel the order and return to the Purchaser any deposit paid in full.

3. Where the agreement is for the purchase of goods to be ordered from any Manufacturer (e.g. built to order), GT Towing Ltd and the Purchaser will agree an estimated delivery date. GT Towing Ltd will use best endeavours to deliver by such date, but does not guarantee time of delivery. GT Towing Ltd shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by the Purchaser through any reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery howsoever caused.

4. If GT Towing Ltd fails to deliver the vehicle within 30 days of the estimated delivery date the Purchaser may give written notice to GT Towing Ltd requesting delivery within a further 7 days. If delivery does not occur then the contract may be cancelled and any deposit paid shall be returned to the Purchaser in full and GT Towing Ltd shall have no further liability.

5. In the event of the Manufacturer ceasing to make goods of the type ordered by the Purchaser, GT Towing Ltd shall return the deposit in full to the Purchaser and cancel this agreement and GT Towing Ltd shall have no further liability.

6. The Purchaser may cancel the order within a cooling-off period of 5 days (for on premises contracts) or 14 days (for off premises contracts) from the date of the order, and receive back in full any deposit paid. If the order is cancelled after that date, GT Towing Ltd will be entitled to recover their reasonable losses (e.g. as a deduction from any deposit) as a result of the cancellation.

Where GT Towing Ltd agree to allow part of the purchase price to be satisfied by the Purchaser delivering a part exchange, the used goods shall be delivered to and accepted by GT Towing Ltd subject to the following conditions:

a) that the goods shall be delivered to GT Towing Ltd in the same condition as described by the Purchaser at the time of the order (subject only to fair wear and tear); and

b) that any quoted or estimated part exchange value for the goods will only be confirmed Upon physical inspection by GT Towing Ltd; and

c) that either (i) the goods are the absolute property of the Purchaser and free from any Hire Purchase Agreement or other legal encumbrance whatsoever, or (ii) the goods are the subject of a Hire Purchase or Credit Sale agreement and any outstanding finance is capable of being settled by GT Towing Ltd. In such a case the amount of the part exchange allowance shall be reduced accordingly.

8. In the event of a goods being taken in part exchange, GT Towing Ltd may proceed to dispose of it before delivery of the goods:

a) If GT Towing Ltd dispose of the goods within the cooling off period or if the order is cancelled by GT Towing Ltd, the sum to be paid back for the part exchange caravan shall be the previously agreed part exchange allowance price;
b) In all other circumstances where the goods are not delivered or where the order is cancelled by the Purchaser, the sum to be paid back for the part exchange
shall be the lower of either the price at which it was sold by GT Towing Ltd or the previously agreed part exchange allowance price.

9. The Purchaser shall pay GT Towing Ltd the balance of the purchase price of the goods before delivery. Delivery will not take place before the date indicated on the order form unless an earlier delivery date is agreed.

10. If the Purchaser shall fail reasonably to take delivery of, or pay for, the goods, GT Towing Ltd may cancel the agreement and:

a) GT Towing Ltd will be entitled to recover their reasonable losses (e.g. as a deduction from any deposit) as a result of the breach.

b) GT Towing Ltd shall be entitled to dispose of the goods as they may think fit without any liability to the Purchaser.

l l . Any notice to be given under this agreement shall be deemed to have been duly served if sent by Recorded Delivery to the Purchaser's last known address in GT Towing Ltd's possession and subsequently recorded as having been delivered.

12. The Purchaser should discuss with GT Towing Ltd any terms that the Purchaser does not understand and check that all the information provided is accurate and correct, and that any special arrangements that may have been agreed during the sales process are included and detailed on the Order form, before signing this Agreement. If in any doubt, the Purchaser should seek independent legal advice before signing this Agreement.

13. Nothing in these terms and conditions will affect the Purchaser's statutory rights relating to either faulty or misdescribed goods, or poor quality services. For more information on these statutory rights contact a local authority Trading Standards Department or Citizens Advice Bureau.

Amendments can be made to your appointment date and time up until 14 days prior to your original appointment. If you wish to amend your appointment date and time within 14 days of your original appointment, your deposit may only be transferable if GT Towing Ltd are able to re-book the original allocated time in the workshop.
