2. Prices & VAT
All prices are quoted inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) at the rate applicable at the date of supply, unless otherwise stated.
3. Orders & Price Changes
If the cost of the goods increases between the date of order and the estimated delivery or collection date (including increases imposed by the manufacturer), we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable.
If you do not wish to accept the revised price, you may cancel the order and any deposit paid will be refunded in full.
4. Built-to-Order & Manufacturer Supply
Where goods are ordered from a manufacturer or built to order, any delivery or collection date provided is an estimate only.
We will use reasonable endeavours to meet estimated dates but time shall not be of the essence. We are not liable for loss or damage arising from reasonable or unavoidable delays outside our control.
5. Failure to Supply
If we fail to supply the goods within 30 days of the estimated delivery or collection date, you may give written notice requiring supply within a further 7 days.
If supply does not occur within that period, you may cancel the contract and receive a full refund of any deposit paid. This shall be your sole remedy.
6. Manufacturer Discontinuation
If the manufacturer ceases production of the goods ordered before supply, we will cancel the agreement and refund any deposit paid in full, with no further liability.
7. Cancellation Rights
On-Premises Contracts
You may cancel your order within 5 days of placing the order.
Off-Premises or Distance Contracts
You may cancel your order within 14 days in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations, unless an exemption applies (including bespoke or custom-built goods).
If cancellation occurs after the applicable cooling-off period, we may retain or recover our reasonable losses incurred as a result of the cancellation.
8. Part Exchange
Where a part exchange is agreed:
- The part exchange goods must be delivered in the same condition as described, allowing for fair wear and tear
- Any valuation is subject to physical inspection
- You confirm the goods are owned outright or that any outstanding finance can be settled
9. Disposal of Part Exchange Goods
If part exchange goods are disposed of before supply of the purchased goods:
- If cancelled during the cooling-off period, you will receive the agreed allowance
- In all other cases, you will receive the lower of the agreed allowance or the resale price achieved
10. Payment & Collection
The balance of the purchase price must be paid in full before collection or delivery. Goods will not be released until cleared funds are received.
11. Failure to Collect or Accept Delivery
If you fail to collect or accept delivery within a reasonable time, we may cancel the contract, recover reasonable losses, and dispose of the goods without liability.
12. Delivery (If Offered)
Where delivery is offered and accepted, delivery dates are estimates only. Risk passes to you upon successful delivery.
Any damage must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. Delivery does not include inspection, servicing, or warranty work unless agreed in writing.
13. Warranty & Repairs
All trailers are supplied with a manufacturer’s warranty. Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- Warranty inspections and repairs must be carried out at our premises
- We do not provide mobile or on-site repairs
- You are responsible for returning the trailer or defective part to us
14. Notices
Any notice shall be deemed properly served if sent by recorded delivery to the last known address held by us.
15. Statutory Rights
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable legislation.
